The 2009 New Audi A8 is a four-entrance way four-bum unrestrained b generally richness car built by the German automaker Audi, to restore the Audi V8 as its flagship working model. Is the Audi A8 a good car that will last a long time?

I am considering a BMW 750il as my first choice but now after yahoo answers I made arrangements to look at a Lexus LS460 and a Cadillac Escalade this week but someone also said Audi A8. Will it last a long time? Thats my main question. I know its a big car but should I spend some time looking at i and test drinvg it?

Unfortunately Audi, as all European manufacturers, have had many recent reliability problems stemming mostly from electrical matters.

No doubt about it- the A8 is a beautiful car and drives very nice. It offers much room and a high class, high quality interior. It performs excellent in winter driving and is sporty in the summer. In theory a great car. However, it has many downsides. The first being resale value which is well below average- 43% loss in the first year. It is horrible on gas mileage as well- 14city/19highway. It is very expensive to own and maintain. Insurance is also very high as parts cost above average. And reliability-who wants to see their new car in the repair shop more than in their driveway? Read the consumer reviews, especially long term reviews. The logs are filled with horror stories just in time for Halloween.

I would test drive it just so that later when you buy something else you will not wonder what it was like to drive that model.

Have you seen the movie "Transporter 2"? The movie is a commercial ad. for the Audi A8 car. Do you agree?

I was debating with my friend, where I stated that Audi (the company) had to pay the 'movie crew' to feature their car, the Audi A8, in the movie - Transporter 2.

My friend disagreed and thought it should be vise versa - where the 'movie people' paid Audi a lot to use their car (the Audi A8) in the movie.

What do you think?

I haven't seen it, but I read about Audi being featured. I believe there was an agreement between the companies where Audi paid. Like any other commercial. Sometimes there's cross advertising where they promote each other, in the end though someone usually pays.

Which is a better car. 2008 Audi A8 or the 2008 Mercedes Benz CLS 500?

well there is a difference between these cars the A8/S8 is meant to compete with the S class or BMW 7 series and it does this very well. The CLS is very luxurious and is more stylish that the A8 or the S-class and you don't give up that much in luxury but the A8 does come with more options standard and has more options to add on as well thing like rear heated seats heated steering wheel ext. if you live wear it snows the Quattro is a huge advantage. personally i think the A8 is the more refined luxury car and the CLS is younger more stylish car. The Audi will be more reliable and probably slightly (only slightly) cheaper to maintain. so it depends on what is most important style or reliability and refinement. keep in ming the the difference in refinement and style are not huge. if it were me and i was not in a hurry to get a new car i would wait for the A7 to come out it will be a direct competitor to the CLS and i believe BMW is rumored to be be coming out with a 4 door 6 series.
