not a good idea..the car is cheap and not very stable....there are many other better cars in this class....if you want a small car and cheap go with Toyota...i would recommend the Toyota yaris....34/40 mpg..the price starts from $10,480 - $13,525
never breaks down and will never lose its value unlike the Aveo....
you could pay a lil more for Toyota Matrix, Toyota Corolla

Why is a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo a dangerous car?
The Chevrolet Aveo's not really a dangerous car - it received good crash test ratings.
Keep in mind - if a car fails the standard IIHS crash testing (which would make it a "dangerous" car), then the IIHS won't allow the car to be sold until the problems are fixed and the car is safe.
