Chevrolet Silverado SS First Car ?

So , I'm getting my first car and I want a pick up for a few reasons
I like the Chevrolet Silverado SS but I was wondering if the insurance would be a lot worse than a regular Silverado or any other full size pick up (Tundra,Titan,F-150,Ram).
(I'm 16 Male for the insurance)

I own a shop, and know a lot about these vehicles since we work on many of them. A couple of things to consider here is; Any time a vehicle has a V-8 engine, the insurance goes way up. Any time a logo such as SS is attached to a vehicle, it means its a high performance vehicle, and is more likely to be in an accident than a less powerful vehicle. In most states; insurance rates are determined by age, type of vehicle, engine size, and of course your driving record, but since you have no record, this puts you in a high risk category. This rate will not come down to affordable until one reaches 25 years old, and you have a proven good record. I'm not saying you couldn't afford the insurance, but I am saying it will be steep for you.
If I were you; I would consider a regular Silverado to begin with, and after a few years of driving (if you have a good record) then consider the SS. Sorry about that, but sometimes the insurance companies doesn't seem fair, but that's how they are. It doesn't take much to turn a regular Silverado into an SS, and what the insurance company doesn't know, won't hurt them. Trick it out, and make it into a nice truck. You can always add the SS stripping package along with a few other goodies, and have a very nice truck. That's what I would do.

How do I get CD info on my display for my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado?

how can you burn the disc to where when the cd is playing in your car, that you see the name of the song thats playing instead of track 1 or track 2..etc.?

the factory radio can't do this. it wasn't designed for that. some can use rds, to display radio info. but won't work with cd's

Do they still make Chevrolet Silverado SS?

i couldn't tell what was the name of the car i saw, but someone has given me the answer. i hope its the right one. but do they still make this car or truck?

Not the truck as of this time. they do make a HHR, Cobalt, Impala, and Equinox.
