The whole car is made in Germany by mercedes who bought into Chrysler. The only thing Chrysler on the car is the body.

they are definetly kinda cool but they are way to small and overpriced for any kind of practical use

2004 chrysler crossfire, how do i make the lights inside the car come on automatically at night?

i just bought a 04 chrysler crossfire and at night when i get in my car/open the door (the key is not in the ignition) the lights DONT come on inside the car and i cant see anything!!!.. is there anyway i can make the lights automatically come on?

Check your instrument panel light dimmer switch. Yours is probably all the way down low, which cuts off your interior lights as well. If you turn it up one notch, your interior lights shold work.

Please help me choose a car!!!! Is chrysler crossfire girly?

I can buy car up to 25k, iam looking for car that attracts girls or stands out, i was wondering about the crossfire. A used crossfire is like only 15k, but some people tell me its for girls, is it? can you pls give me other suggestion, cars like this (but for guys) and if possible 2 + 2 seatting ( with back seats). Thanks guys!

come on man, put that money to good use. if i had that kinda dough id get a classic or a muscle car man. chevelles are bad ass cars for example, or a sweet 67 camaro or something. girls dig those a LOT more than a crossfire, and yeah i think the crossfire is really girly. i know gas is pricey, but if you have 25k, then spend 15 to 20k and save some for the occasional part replacement and gas. for 20k, you can find plenty of fully restored, fast, head-turning, girl magnet, bad ass cars! just my opinion though.

Chrysler crossfire a girls car??

Hey, I am a guy and thinking about getting the chrysler crossfire convertible!! Do you think this is a girls car?

I have one and both my husband and I drive it. He has no qualms about it and actually enjoys driving it! I know several guys who wanted one, but were too tall to be comfortable in it. It is a sports car and not a girlie car.

Does anyone out there own a Chrysler Crossfire. If so, do you think the value of this car will go up or down?

I would also like to know if this car can be modified for better performance. Mine is a 2005 Convertible limited. It is a light creamy yellow color

Basically, it will be a while before it becomes a collector's car, if it ever does.

Does it have a chance of becoming collectable? Sure, they were hard to sell, they didn't make near as many of those as they did other vehicles, people right now don't really appreciate them for what they are.

All of that means that many people aren't taking meticulous care of them to keep them in tip top shape. So if you keep it nice, keep all repair records, and fix any nicks, dings, or dents that do happen (if you drive it, you'll likely get some) one day it may be worth a lot of money.

There's just no way to know what's going to be collectable 20 or 30 years from now. Best thing is to drive it and enjoy it while taking good care of it. That way, if it does become a collectable, it will be in nice condition, and you got to enjoy driving it for all those years while it's value went up. Or, if it never becomes a desired vehicle, then you didn't let it sit there being useless for all those years, you got to enjoy it and get your moneys worth out of it anyway, even if nobody else likes it.


BTW, DO NOT park your vehicle to take up 2 or 3 parking spaces EVER!!! If you don't want door dings, then park way out at the farther ends of the parking lot away from traffic and carts, etc, yet in a fully visible area. But if you park and take up 2 or 3 spaces, some smart-aleck may come along and put a ding in it (or worse) just for spite no matter where you parked. Taking more than 1 space is only acceptable if the vehicle is too large for one space, then you park way at the end of the lot so as not to inconvenience other people (you know, good old fashioned courtesy).
