For years the Mazda Miata has been considered a "chick" car, but statistics show that something like 60% of Miata owners are middle age white guys.
What peoples perceptions of a car are should have no basis on whether or not you buy it.
For the record, the only car I see as a chick car is any car that is painted pink.

Would Dodge Caliber be a safe bet car to take for a snowboarding trip?
I'm thinking about renting a car for the snowboarding trip. From what I have researched so far, Dodge Caliber seem like the best opition, value wise and safety wise to rent for the snowboarding trip since it's AWD and has some good quality of an SUV. Does it have snow tire capability? Since it's my first trip, I want to be safe as possible. If it isn't, can someone suggest another good car? Thanks!

Is the Dodge Caliber a reliable car? I haven't found any information about it's reliablility.
They are good cars, don't listen to Dodge man, he flip flops his mind all the time, before it was I drove one and its nice, now its they have problems. Number one, who is going to take a car that's under warranty to some shade tree mechanic. Well your not, your going to take it to the dealer because its under warranty. The Caliber uses a world engine that is shared with Kia's and Mitsubishi's. The CVT transmission is shared with the Nissan small cars and you don't hear any drive train issues with Nissan's do you????
