I have a ford expedition , and my car inside lights won't trun off?

I checked all doors are closed , everything is turned , my car inside lights wont turn off , whats wrong . I'm at work & i'm afraid my batteries will die soon if it doent go off.

First, make sure your dimmer switch is not turned all the way. This will turn on the dome light.

Second, Open each door and look for the door jam switch. One may have been pushed in and no longer contacts the door.

If neither of these seem to be the problem, get it looked at by a mechanic.

On the same note, It would take 24 - 48 hours to drain your battery because the dome light requires very little power. Also, your ford is equipped with a battery saver module. If the voltage drops too low it will cut power to all accessories... leaving just enough power to start your vehicle. Once your engine is running, your Alternator will charge the batteries and your batter saver module will once again power the accessory circuit.

How do you get programs for remote car alarm for ford expedition 2002?

Get in the car, close the door, cycle the key in the ignition 8 times (on and off) dont start the engine, leave it in the ON position the 8th time, the doors will lock and unlock by themselves, then press the "lock" button on the remote and turn the ignition off, and the remote should be programmed......you can program up to 4 remotes at the same time, after cycling the key just press the "lock" button on each remote you're programming
