Is A 2000 Ford Ranger a dependable car for a 16 year old to drive?

I stumbled across a 2000 Ford Ranger pick up at a used car lot, i just drove by, but didnt check the mileage, but it was $2695.00. My questions are is this a good price, and would this be a relilable car for a 16 year old kid to drive to school everyday?

I think it would be a great deal and a nice vehicle for your kid to drive.
I just sold my old 1991 F-150 here on Ebay for $1650.00
The truck had 150000 miles on it but no big problems,The rusty frame was the problem with my truck.

What is the cheapest way to replace car door locks on a ford ranger?

Someone drilled the car door locks out of my ford ranger and I can't get into my truck. I was wondering how much it would cost and who I should have install new car door locks? Do I go to an auto body shop? The dealership? I have no idea who to go to and how much this is gonna be.

88 ford Ranger died while I was driving I took the fuel filter off pumped the gas and no gas Car still?

My 88 Ford Ranger died while I was driving. I took the fuel filter off pumped the gas but no gas was flowing. The car and both its tanks have a full tank of gas. The car turns over but wont start. Could this have anything to do with the fuel pump and why its not running. Everthing else works but I cant understand why its not running?? Please help me if you have any clue of what I am saying LOL.

I'd get it to a shop and have a professional take a look at it, could be a fuse, a relay, fuel pump etc....
