I had this idea of putting a home speaker from my stereo into the trunk of my car. My friend did this on his impala and I was wondering how I could do it to my Ford Taurus SE 2000. I can't find where to put the wires in, in my trunk. Does anyone know where I can put them in?

You would have to hook it up to your speaker wires. but the home speaker runs off of a different impedance than the car. The home's standard impedance is 8 ohm or 16 ohms. Adding this speaker to your system could potentially damage your factory system.
Your Friend is stupid for doing so and you shouldn't follow his lead. Do it right and get a car system.

Why dose a 1998 ford taurus car , when it is cold will not start up, or shut off when put into gear?
I am looking to buy this 1998 ford taurus for 600.00. The guys saids the check ingine light stays on. When it is cold and you shift it in to gear it will shut off. But when it warms up it runs and moves fine. Why? What do you think it is...something expensive to fix or not?...Please help...don't want to buy a lemon. Thanks
i own a repair shop and the price is real good on this car,,but it makes me wonder why it is so cheap,its actually worth more than that,,it could be that he or she knows whats wrong with it,and is selling it to avoid repairing it,,if i was you id take someone with me that knows about cars,,that check engine light can mean a lot of things,,and it could wind up with you spending a lot of money on it,,good luck i hope this help,s,,PS id probably pass on this one of it was me.

What is up with my car? 1998 Ford Taurus?
I have a 1998 Ford Taurus. The car is acting up. It runs hot no matter how much antifreeze I place in it. What ever antifreeze placed in it runs right back out of the radiator. We've been told its the radiator and it needs to be flushed since there is rust or something. We've also been told it has a cracked head gasket or what-not. I am looking for more opions and what do ppl think I should do? Just let the car go?
I'll agree the thermostat needs to be checked for proper operation. This model Taurus had casting material left in the engine block from the assembly plant which causes the coolant to contain large amounts of rust. Usually making the coolant a beige or brown color. The first casualty of the rust in the coolant is usually a stopped up heater core, and the rust will literally eat the impeller off of the water pump. If you have no coolant flow, after checking the thermostat, the water pump will be the culprit. This was covered in Ford's TSB #01-11-6, and also required a coolant bypass kit to be installed along with the water pump replacement and coolant flush. Check for coolant in the oil, or oil in the coolant for a blown head gasket, or external oil leaks around the heads. If you have a head gasket problem, there will be driveability concerns also, such as a rough idle, engine miss etc.
