i have found a used jeep compass and i am very interested in buying this mini SUV. BUT, a toyota dealor said to never buy domestic cars b/c they won't last. I think that he is just saying this to get me to buy a toyota, but i really want to buy a car that will last me!
I have a 08' Patriot and I love it. The compass and patriot are based on the same platform. If you look around you can find many Jeep Wranglers, Cherokee's and Grand Cherokees running around with many many miles on them. I know of a couple guys running around in jeeps older than me and I'm 30. I agree he is just trying to get you to buy a Toyota, they are good. BUT get what you like, what you can afford. Yes make sure it comes with a Warranty. I would guess it would have a 3 year on it. I had a VW and I put so much money into. I had a Ford and a Chevy product and didn't spend a lot on them. My hubby's old Toyota is still running on it's second motor. People are going to try to persuade you to buy whatever but it comes down to what YOU like, what YOU want, what YOU can afford.

production on. I saw one at the Chrysler Headquarters and it
is cool. It's worth the wait.
