hey my car has had troubles since i bought it.. spent a lot of money fixing it but it still has some of the same problems and new ones as well... i need to know what to do
the problems now is that my engine has a ticking sound whenever it is on that has been going on since i've bought it... like it continually clicks... also the engine temperature is too cold although there's plenty of anti and all... oil was changed not too long ago and trans fluid is ok ... added some stop-leak stuff is that y? it's old car but i'm losing a lot of mileage on top of that.... what should i do? take to shop and fix everything? it'll cost over 4K they said ...
OH YEAH engine is V8 and it's a heavy car... mechanic said one of valves is clogged or broken... etc. etc.
Take your car to someone else, a broken valve would make the engine run rough, the ticking is a hard one, if it is a high pitched click try this
1. put a mark on the serpentine belt, run the engine if it clicks every time the mark is in the same spot then replace the belt, they do develop a ticking sound.
2. try this at your own risk, if you kill the engine you may be screwed.
I do thi in my shop to eliminate carbon on valves. Take a light weight oil. I use transmission fluid. Find a point where you can get it into the intake. pour a small amount 2oz at a time into the intake while running the engine at a high RPM 2500-3000 the oil will heat up the carbon and burn it off. This will create a TON of smoke out the tailpipe but it works. OF neither of these fixes it then it could be a lifter sticking. run a product called Rislone in the oil to help lube the lifters and maybe unstick it.

Yeah, buy it, please buy it. Sexier that BMW 7, Audi A8, JAG, MB Sclass, perhaps only the Maserati Quatroporte looks better... but the Mazer costs like 120large.
Actually that Benz would be tough to turn down, but if i had ythat $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ here, i'd splash it on the Lexus

YOU can trade it just to Lexus LS430.Otherwise You will miss it a lot.I did trade to MB ,and allways rimember my LS400 .It was THE CAR.
