Can anyone tell me, if the lexus sc 400 is a good car to buy?

This car has 101,000 miles on it, and is a 96 model.Its going for 10 grand do you guys think its a good deal.I need a reliable car one that will last me a long time.From what ive heard these cars can go past 200,000 no problem.

As long as you have the money to keep fixing it! It's not a cheap car to keep on the road.

i have a lexus sc 300 1992 recently a radi hose ripped and now my car wont start & the battery wont stay charg

the car trunned off when the hose ripped and antifreeze spilled all over the engine fixed hose and now it wont start.also battery wont stay charged
checked tha alt.its good also the pulley is good

Might be the Alternator got coolant inside of it and will not recharge the battery as it should, test your alternator at your local auto parts store, if your car wont start, you will need to remove the alternator ans take it in.
