trying to find out about rotor tip wear on the mazda rx 8 car?

Have been told that after so many miles you need to renew them and just trying to find out if this is true and if so how often this may need to be done and how much it would cost before i buy the car.

I've been keeping an eye for engine failure in these cars. I'll be tempted to buy one when they get a couple of years older.

So far, I haven't seen anything in the press about engines failing. It seems they've done a good job with their tips compared to the past. Have a read of the following page. Apparently Mazda have got 20,000 hours out of one engine at a constant speed. Whilst that isn't indicative of real world conditions, it does suggest it could have driven a car anything upto three quarter of a million miles.

Is the Mazda RX-8 a girly car? Would it be cool for a guy to drive?

Would the Mazda RX-8 be a cool car for a guy to drive?

About half of the guys at my school are hicks and drive pickup trucks, and I hate pickup trucks. Anyway, I really like the Mazda RX-8, but It seems like it could be a girly car. Do a lot of guys drive it? Would it be cool for a guy to drive?

I'm also looking at the Honda Element, is that cool? Thanks.
