The 1982 Mercedes 280 Sl was never ordered By the Unites States so I can not get an estimate on the vechicle because it has a gray book value. I have been offered 30,000 U S dollars for it. How would I go Bout getting a estimate on A Gray Book Value? The gray book value is a Germany book as I have been told

You're right, a straight 6 cylinder SL ( 107 body ) was never sold in North America ( N.A. only received the V8's ).

I would say $30 000 is an excellent offer for your vehicle. Unless you have a very strong sentimental value attachment to the car, I would accept that offer.

probably not sorry. collectible cars are usually the ones that revolutionized the market. like the ford model t, the original beetle, mustang, etc.
