I paramour my 04' GTO so much, we went and bought a Pontiac G8 GT. With the modifications the horsepower is spectacular on both cars. Stock of the showroom has and more »

, GM’s Buy It Now prices ordinarily about 2 percent above the standard in the main store quotation.
However, GM’s eBay locale is representation interest, with 630,000 visits in the first week. The results were extraordinarily dependable for GM’s California pains, with eBay expenditure searches up 10 percent there. GM’s demand percentage in California is 13 percent, compared to its patriotic ration of 19.6 percent. Unfortunately for GM, the Pontiac G8 was the most searched nameplate in California, a prototype that is set to float off into the sunset after the 2009 example year.
this would labour much wiser if the buy it now appraisal was either invoice, or the bottom vanguard lowest cost out the businessman can suffer…sympathetic of a no-squabble buy it now bounty…that would consequence in more ebay sales…unfortunately the dealers did correctly what i hoped they wouldn’t, which is set the buy it now at a unalterable nobody in their propitious weigh would pay…money-hungry dumbasses…
as mayer incisive out, anybody looking at ebay already has entrance to partly a dozen manifold ways to get a sense for the physical fabulous bonus for the car…don’t understand the internet owner is a dumbass that will click buy it now and pay 2% more for the channel…
So… GM is adapting to the dealers style of “selling”, force the followers. A tradesman in Avondale, AZ had a $1000 markup on the new Camaros, but has since raised it to $4000. They cried when they couldn’t barter cars, and now that they have one renowned copy they indigence to prosper up for it by jacking up the prices. Hasn’t anyone heard of sum total selling? They be entitled to what they get.
My woman likes the Camaro, but it will never develop. The Rival looked assets c incriminating evidence, but Waffle raised the prices. That foolproof will deal in more cars. I divine that leaves the old dependable Mustang.

Any suggestions for a new car between a pontiac solstice gxp, a pontiac g8 gt, and a chevy impala ss?
Get the G8. The solstice is a joke. Just drive one, and you'll know immediately, it's was created for teenage girls to recieve on thier 16th birthday. The impala ss would be my second choice.

What do you think of the new Pontiac G8?
I think the new Pontiac G8 is a hot car. Reviews compared it to one of the BMW series being pretty much the same but half the price. I finally like the exterior, not a fan of Pontiac looks from the past, but this car looks hot and an awesome deal for a great car. Pontiac is definitely moving in the right direction, what do you guys think? pic here

This car SUCKS. Just like the new M3 SUCKS. I hate to say it...but a sports car SHOULD NOT WEIGH 3600+ lbs!! It's criminal. The M3's used to be light and FUN. Now they're heavy and comfy...the opposite of fun. Same goes for the G8...it's got a semi-strong V8, but it's still only a low 14 car....and it's not fun.

What would be a faster car in a heads up race? A '08 Pontiac G8 GT or a '08 Mitsubishi Evolution?
Edmunds rates the Pontiac G8 GT at a 0-60 of 5.3 seconds, quarter mile of 14.1 sec.
Edmunds rates the Mitsubishi Evo X at a 0-60 of 4.9 seconds, quarter mile of 13.6 seconds.
Personally, I expected the Evo to be faster anyway, and these numbers were just confirmation.
