I recently drove a KX-S and didn’t go in a different place as impressed as yourself Matt.

the Tribeca is more 'tossable' (easily driven in traffic) the Honda more roomy.
personally, if you don't need the extra size i'd get the subaru. none of your friends will have one, plus if you go on various review websites, lot's of people complain about the trans in the pilots (and Acurac MDX which has the same trans) giving them problems.

Subaru makes very reliable cars, while the tribeca is still a new model, it shares the same engine and many parts from most subarus.
If you buy it expect to keep it for a very long time.

Hows the sound system in the Subaru Tribeca 2008 compared to other cars?
Very good sound system in the 2008 Tribeca. There is a subwoofer as part of the system that makes a big difference in the overall sound. Mine has the DVD entertainment system. It has wireless headphones for the rear seats.
I've been very pleased with the overall quality of the sound.
