My car Suzuki forenza 2004 has hold button near gear box, what is it for?

its a mode for your transmission, if you push it a light on the dashboard comes on that says "hold" when the lite is one your transmission is in hold mode, you push it again to turn off the light and take it out of hold mode.

When in "hold" mode, if you stomp on the gas, the transmission will not downshift, instead it will "hold" and stay in the same gear you are in, it is supposed to be used in wet or icy road conditions where an increase in power form downshifting would cause the tire to break traction.

when I press the gas in my suzuki forenza car theres a slight rattling sound?

Where could this slight rattling come from, the engine light doesnt come on, or it doesnt seem to be hurting the car, but its very irritating and what could be the cause of this???? Please Help, Mechanics

you need to put higher octane fuel in your car. You aren't getting the firing power your car requires. Old gas will cause this, too. Instead of the cheaper gas (regular) try supreme and see if that helps, but do it when you get down to a 1/4 tank of gas to dilute the regular. Hope that helps.

Is 2005 Suzuki Forenza a good car?

I found a 2005 Suzuki Forenza has a low milleage of 45K miles. I am considering to buy it from a private owner. Please offer some advice about buying this car, especially maintenace cost and reliability. Appreciate that.

Not a great car, but will probably suit as a daily commuter. Watch out for bad build quality.
