Toyota recalls 1,309 2010 Corollas

On and off problem starting my 97 toyota camry car!?

I have a toyota camry 1997 4 cyln., My car sometimes doesn't start. It will not start for 1-2 times but then start. it has only 87k miles, and the car just had complete tune up. The car will randomly start and dont start. It mostly happens during the day but never yet in the morning.
Thanks for your help. I forgot to mention that a week ago or so I had another problem that my battery died. i only had it for 1.5 years. I didn't check in the battery is bad or something else was the problem, I just replaced it...now I am wondering if that is related at all too?

You could have a crankshaft or camshaft position sensor going bad. When these get hot, they offer very little resistance. If they do not send a signal to the ECM, then you won't have spark or fuel injector pulse. The best thing to do is get it diagnosed, so you don't waste money guessing which part is bad. If you have no spark, and also no injector pulse, the likely problem is the crankshaft position sensor. If you have no spark, but do have injector pulse, the likely problem would be the camshaft position sensor. While you can test both of these at the same time with a spark tester and a noid light, you should also have a fuel pressure tester to read the fuel pressure while you are cranking the engine. The crankshaft position sensor is located on the side of the engine, near the front of the engine on the passenger side. The camshaft position sensor is on the backside of the engine under the intake manifold. The best thing to do if you suspect one of these two is the problem, is get an ohms reading on them and see if they are within specs for resistance. If they are within spec, one of the two could still be a source of your problem, because when they get hot, they tend to lose their resistance. You will also want to check your ignition coil for corrosion.

How can I remove the Car Stereo for the Toyota Camry 2004?

if u have not bought one then go to ww.crutchfield.com and go to outfit car but ur car in there and they will show u all the audio equipment that will fit in the car head units speakers. When u buy a headunit from crutchfield they will include everything u need to make the install easier and the mastersheet free.

I want to know when my Toyota Camry car has been manufactured and come out from the Toyota Company?

Either on the drivers door edge or drivers door jam will be a white sticker about 3" x 4". Your production date, VIN and all that info is on that sticker. So is your paint code.

Code will be something like 172 or 8M6 or such.
