I could fill the unrestricted residuum of my person with waiting at bus stops and then waiting for buses to get where I dearth to go.

How much would it cost to purchase a car alarm for a 2000 toyota sienna?

looking for prices on alarm for a 2000 toyota sienna. I want to know the different prices for basic car alarm and car alarm with remote start.

you can get a basic alarm like a do it yourself type of thing from pepboys for as little as $50.... I kno they sell do it yourself remote start kits too (I dont know if they sell a 2 in 1 or not, maybe seperate) or you could get one installed (alarm and start) somewhere like circuit city or best buy for about $150 - $200 with installation

Waht are the negative effect on the engine of a car (Toyota Sienna-05) from using E-85?

OLDER cars, and I mean OLDER cars, can have issues with fuel line components that were made of RUBBER. New fuel lines, etc are NOT "RUBBER" and will be unaffected by ethanol (E85). It will not "EAT OUT your fuel tank or fuel system".

Having said that, however, IF the car was not designed for E85, you will experience poor economy and performance, because the spark timing, valve timing, etc all must be adjusted for best performace - ideally, a car that is set up from the ground to burn E85 is the best way to go, because it has the proper fuel and engine components. It will higher compression ratio to take advantage of the higher octane rating (equivalent to 105 octane gasoline).

If your car was not designed as a flexfuel car, you can still purchase a third party or aftermarket kit that will attach to your engine and adjust the fuel injectors, etc to optimize the use of E85. However, note that you not get as GOOD performance or fuel ecnonmy...E85 in a car with aftermarket injection adapter kit will still experience about a 25% (max) drop in fuel economy, however, that is supposed to be offset by the cheaper price.

If you put a tank of E85 in your 05 Sienna, you may notice that it runs worse and gets terrible fuel economy. Spend about $300 (eBay, etc) for the E85 converter kit and you can then use both fuels (gasoline and E85) with no issue.

I have a 1990 Isuzu pickup truck that I converted to E85 (with the injector kit to modify the timing and time the injectors stay open) and my truck runs fine on either fuel. And you know what, the tank and fuel system was NOT EATEN UP FROM THE INSIDE OUT. That's a hoax.

Ideas on how to prevent Toyota Sienna break in?

I am looking for ideas on how to prevent my car, Toyota Sienna with factory alarm, from being broken into. Someone has gotten into my car on three separate occassions in the middle of the night. My car alarm did not sound off at any time so I suspect whoever it is might have a device to circumvent the system. Luckily, nothing was taken except for some change. I've contacted the local authorities and was not given too much help. Does anyone have any advice on how to deter or prevent these break ins? Thanks in advice.

Are you certain you are arming the alarm ? Many alarms require you to arm it.

Contact your Toyota dealer and explain what is happening. If the alarm is being bypassed there will be signs that the dealer can see/find.

Chances are the alarm is either not arming when you try to arm it or the sensitivity is set too low.

The dealer can show you how to arm it if that is the problem and can increase the sensitivity if you want it increased.
