Is the Volkswagen Beetle a good car? ( the new model NOT the old BUGS)?

I'm making a critical decision soon, picking out a new car. I think Beetle's are adorable, but know nothing about them, know no one who drives them. Are they difficult and expensive to service due to their odd structure? What's it like owning a Beetle ? Tell me anything you know I'd really appreciate it!

We owned a 2003 model for 2 years. It was almost new when we bought it. It had way too many problems for such a new car. The brake lights wouldn't work due to a sticky part and there was some recalled thing which ended up causing us to be stranded on the road and we had to tow it to the dealer, among other things. The back seat has zero leg room and is very uncomfortable unless you are under 10 years old.

Is the new type volkswagen beetle a nice car?

yes - it is fashionable, roomy and fun to drive. The only down side that I can see is that the curvature of the body means that yo can not see where the car starts and finishes - so be careful parking it.

What infant car seat will work in the new Volkswagen beetle convertible?

I have an 04 beetle convertible.

And really any carseat works.
I've had about three different ones and they were all fine.
