I have a 1998 volvo c70. When I'm sitting at a stop light the rpm drop and the car almost stalls.?

This only happens when I'm in drive. Its picks back up again though. I'm just waiting for the day it completely stalls out when I'm sitting their.
This is my first car. I'm think it has to do with fuel delivery but anyone's guess is as good as mine.

My car is a Nissan Maxima and it had the same problem before. Mine was some sort of throttle body actuator, which I guess is some kind of sensor that has something to do with fuel and air and combustion and all that. They also cleaned the throttle body. No problems since.

I really like them. I was going to buy one some years back. I ran into a hassle with the salesman. He wouldn't give me the employee discount price. The "A" plan for Ford. He wouldn't even let me use a "X" plan number. He told me to get someone in supervision to cut me a "X" plan number. Then he gave me a price on my trade in that was an insult.
I called Detroit and asked them about it, and they said that I could use the "A" plan. About a month or two later, the union came out and said that it had to be a car built by UAW employees to be eligible for the discount plan.
So I bought a Mustang GT convertible instead.
