Where can get another 1997 Volvo v70 car key programmed without having to pay dealership prices?? Thanks.?

When I bought it it only came with one & it is old and the plastic is breaking badly so I need another.

Butch is right about it being lazer cut and it can be copied at the dealer but not cut from the VIN! The dealer cannot cut lazerb cut keys from the Volvo Key Code but can order a duplicate key for you that might or might not need to be programmed. If you give them the VIN # they can go into "WARRANTY" of VRC2 and see if your car has a "Key Pin#" if it does not have a PIN# then they can just cut a key and if it does then they will have to program it with the "VST" or the Volvo Scan Tool which takes about 6 minutes or less! If the dealer charges you more than .3 tenths of an hour they are being greedy because it only takes 6 minutes or .1

3 gallons of E 85 in a 2001 Volvo V70 CX. car is rated for 10% ethonol mix will 3 gallons diluted in almost?

Since E 85 is 85 percent ethanol and your car should only have 10 percent, you could do a little math to determine the ammount of gass needed to dilute it. However, since most gas is likely 10 percent you can never actually dilute it all the way. I would suggest filling the car up all the way with a premium gas and running it to about a half tank and refill. That should take care of it.

Do you think a 2004 Volvo V70 is a good car?

I have found a 04 Volvo V70, 39K miles it is the turbo. It is a certified used car which means it will be under warranty until 01/10 or 100K miles. Price is about $18,000 from the dealer.Does anyone have first hand knowledge of what the MPG city is? (I know the stats, I am just looking for some actual numbers from people who have driven them)
